Norway holds the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers in 2012 and the NNF Conference will be organised in October in Oslo.

Finland held the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers 2011. The main theme of the precidency year was addressing climate change on all levels. The theme was communicated through the conference "New Nordic Food - the potential and future of Nordic food when eating outside home", held 10-11 October in Helsinki, Finland.
